Last year I decided to travel to Kashmir, Leh and Ladakh during my summer holidays. It was one of the most amazing experience of my life. The culture here is vastly different from the one back down in Southern or the Western part of India. The situation in the state of Kashmir may not be always pleasant and calm but the locals here are quite happy and fulfilled in what they have and always look forward for a peaceful and a prosperous future of this beautiful Indian State.
Adventure and Travel Tales, Rajasthan Diary : Ranthambore
I left Jaipur after staying 3 days in this beautiful Pink city for my next destination. Ranthambore is a small quaint town near Sawai Madhopur at a distance of 180 km.I had hired a local car to take me there. The roads are not very good but not very bad either. There are no National highways in this State thus driving a car while dodging the cows and buffaloes on the road is somewhat of a distinguished talent. It took me about 4-5 hours to reach Ranthambore.
I spent around 3 days in Jaipur wandering through the various Streets, the restaurants and sight-seeing whatever this beautiful city had to offer me. On my second day in Jaipur I decided to travel to Nahargarh fort. This fort is located on The Aravali Ranges and is at a distance of 15 km from the Amer Fort. I left for the Fort around 8 am which is at a distance of 20-25 km from MI Road in the Jaipur City. A huge gate covered with sharpened and pointy Metal Arrows welcomes the various Tourists from all over the world. The insides of the Nahargarh Fort are converted into beautiful Gardens, small Kiosks and the main Fort has been modified to a certain Extent but the old world charm of this massive fort is still intact.
Adventure and Travel Tales, Rajasthan Diary: Jaipur
After enjoying the beautiful sights of Jodhpur for about 2 days, I decided to go to Jaipur. I had a booked a car from a local Travel agent to visit the capital city of Rajasthan. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City of Rajasthan. The medieval aged built walls, the majestic castles and Forts at the center of the city, the art and the carvings in the great ancient halls and grandeur of the past still hangs on to this now modern city.
Adventure and Travel Tales, Rajasthan Diary: Jodhpur
I recently visited the State of Rajasthan. I mainly traveled to the major cities such as Jaipur , Jodhpur , Jaisalmer and Udaipur. Out of all these cities I think Jodhpur was in a different class of its own. This is a pretty, quaint small city having an ancient unforgotten history, beautiful forts, palaces and various different landscapes for travelers to enjoy and breath in. The following next few blogs would consist of my experience in this beautiful State right from the grand palaces, castles, hotels to tigers, bears in the Ranthambore Safari along with a variety of photographs taken by me.
